Text Personalization Option Set
The Text option allows customers to enter their own text, such as names, dates, quotes, or short messages, and display it directly on the product preview.
To add a text customization, click Add option, select Text, then click Add.

After creating the option, the text layer will appear on the preview canvas. Drag, resize, or rotate it to position the text exactly where you want it to appear on the product.

Content
The Content section controls what customers will see on your storefront.
Here you can configure the option label, default text, placeholder, help text, and whether the field is required. You can also enable paragraph mode if you want customers to enter multiple lines of text.

Fonts & Characters
This section controls how the text is displayed.

You can choose the default font, allow customers to select their own font, define the minimum and maximum font size, adjust character spacing and line height, configure text alignment, and enable Auto Multiline to automatically resize and wrap long text within the selected area.
Colors
The Colors section lets you define the text color.

You can choose a default color, allow customers to personalize the color, and decide whether they can select from a predefined color set or use a color picker. Customix also supports solid colors, gradients, and patterns.
Style & Effect
Use this section to customize the appearance of the text.

You can add shadows, adjust blur and offset, configure stroke width and color, and apply additional visual effects to make the text stand out on the product.
Transform
The Transform section controls the position and size of the text layer.

You can adjust the width, height, X and Y position, skew, opacity, and rotation. These settings determine where and how the text is displayed on the product preview.
Condition
Conditions allow you to show or hide the text option based on another customization option.

For example, you can display the text field only when a customer selects Yes from a checkbox or chooses a specific option from an image swatch. Click Edit in the Condition section to create your conditional logic.
You've now learned how to configure a basic Text personalization option in Customix. The next guides will walk you through the remaining personalization types and their advanced settings, helping you build even more interactive and flexible product customization experiences.
