Template variants

The Template Variants feature lets merchants link different templates to different product variants. This is typically used when two variants require different print file dimensions for example, a vertical print versus a horizontal print.

1. Prepare your templates

First, create a separate template for each variant. For example, if your product has Vertical and Horizontal variants, create both a "PT001 Vertical" and a "PT001 Horizontal" template.

2. Create the campaign with a default template

Create your campaign and link it to one template as the default, for example, "PT001 Vertical". Click Save to create the campaign.

3. Enable variant connection

Once the campaign is created, a Connect with different variants checkbox appears under the Template section. Tick this checkbox to enable linking additional templates.

4. Add the other template

Click Add, then search for and select the second template (e.g., "PT001 Horizontal").

5. Link the template to a variant

After adding the template, select which variant it should be linked to, in this case, the Horizontal variant. You can use the search bar and Select all for quick selection.

How it works

Each variant displays the template it is linked to. If a variant is linked to a specific template, that template is shown for that variant. If a variant is not linked to any additional template, it falls back to the default template (in this example, Vertical).
