The Street Map feature lets you create personalized map-based products by integrating Customix with Mapbox. Customers can enter their own location and optionally choose from your custom map styles when designing the product.

1. Connect Customix to your Mapbox account

First, log in to your Mapbox account: https://console.mapbox.com/, then under the Token section, create and copy a public token:

Go to Settings → Services, find Mapbox under Available services, and enter your Mapbox access token. Once connected, the card displays a green Connected status.

2. Save map styles to your asset library

Complete this step only if you want customers to choose between multiple map styles on the storefront. Skip it if you only need a single style.

• Go to Assets → Maps.
• Click Add map → Add folder, name the folder (e.g., Map Styles), and open it.

• Click Add map, then select Add map option

• In Mapbox Studio, open the style you want → Share → Production → scroll to Developer resources and copy the Style URL (mapbox://styles/...).

• Paste it into the Map style URL field in Customix and click Save.

Repeat for each style you want to offer.

3. Add the Street Map element to a template

• Open a template and click the Elements icon in the left sidebar.
• Select Street Map. The element is added to the canvas, and its settings appear on the right.

• Under Content, configure Initial Location, type coordinates or click Select on Map.
• For the Map Style, pick a default style (Streets, Satellite, Outdoors, Light, Dark) or select Custom:

If you choose Custom, go back to Mapbox Studio → open the style → Share → copy the Preview only URL (https://api.mapbox.com/styles/v1/...), paste it into the Custom Map Style URL field, then click Apply Style

4. Enable customer personalisation

In the Personalization section of the Street Map settings:

• Personalize with location: tick this so customers can search for and select their own address on the storefront. You can set a Label (e.g., Your address) and optional Help text.

• Personalize with map style: tick this to let customers pick between multiple map styles. In the popup that appears, select the folder you created in Step 2 (e.g., Map Styles) and click Done

Save the template. The Street Map element is now ready on your storefront, customers can input their own location and, if enabled, choose their preferred map style:
