Spotify’s Song Personalization
This guide explains how to set up a Spotify-style personalized song design in Customix, allowing customers to customize the song title, artist, and thumbnail based on a Spotify track.
Step 1: Add Spotify Element to the Template
After creating a template, click the Elements icon in the left panel and select Spotify to add a Spotify player element to the canvas.

Then in the Spotify layer and enable Personalize with Spotify track to allow customers to choose their own song.

Step 2: Add Song Thumbnail Image Layer
The next step is adding an image layer to assign it for Song's Thumbnail later. Don't forget to enable the Personalize upload image.

Step 3: Add Text Layers for Song's Name and Artist
Next, add the two text layers corresponding to the Song's Name and Artist value.

Step 4: Share Values from the Spotify Layer
Now, get back to the "Spotify layer" and enable the Share values box then assign each value to the corresponding layer:
- Title → Song’s Name
- Artist → Song’s Artist
- Image → Song’s Thumbnail

For values you do not want customers to edit (such as Duration or URL), simply leave them blank.
Step 5: Create a Preview for the Design
After finish the design, switch to the Preview tab and add the product image as well as the print file to the tab. Then adjust the position and scale of the design so it fits naturally on the product mockup. Make sure the design is placed in a reasonable and realistic position to reflect how the final product will look.

This preview represents how the design will appear on your storefront frontend, and you can also preview it in advance from the Option Sets.
