Import Layers from Other Templates
The Import Layers from Other Templates feature allows you to reuse existing layers from another template instead of rebuilding them from scratch.
This helps speed up template creation and keep designs consistent across products.
1. How it works
First, in the Design tab, click the three-dot menu and select Import from template

Next, choose a source template from the list

Then, select the layers you want to import (you can select multiple layers) and, click Import to add them to your current template.
2. Import Options
In the import dialog, configure the Import Options to control how the layers are brought in:
- Keep layer ID — preserves the original layer IDs from the source template.
- Import with option set — also imports any option sets attached to the layers, so their personalization settings come along.
- Keep position — keeps each layer in the same position it had in the source template; leave this unchecked to reposition them freely.
- Keep GID — preserves the original global IDs of the layers.

3. Result
After import:
- Selected layers are added to the current template
- Layer positions, sizes, and styles are preserved
- Imported layers can be edited, reordered, grouped, or bulk-edited like normal layers
The final result is a fully reusable layout structure, as shown in the example above.
