When you add a placeholder image to your template, you will see an Image Color section on the right panel. This feature allows you to control how the image will appear in your design, and it also applies to the image your customers upload on the storefront.

Customix currently supports three image color modes:

1. Full Color

• Displays the image in its original colors.
• Best for designs that don’t require any color adjustment.
• Customers’ uploaded photos will also remain in full color.

2. Grayscale

• Converts the image to black & white (gray tones).
• Ideal for minimalistic or classic design styles.
• Customers’ uploaded photos will automatically be converted to grayscale as well.

3. Single Color

• Converts the image into one selected color.
• You can choose any color from the color picker.
• Useful for silhouette-style or engraving-style products.
• Customers’ uploaded photos will also follow this single-color style.

Important: Enable Personalization

After you finish setting up the image color mode, remember to scroll down and enable “Personalize upload image.”

This allows your customers to upload their own photo when customizing the product.
