This guide covers the advanced settings available for text personalization in Customix.

Once you understand the fundamentals, you can use the following advanced tools to further enhance your text layers.

1. Prefix & Suffix

Use Prefix and Suffix to automatically add text before or after the customer’s input.

Examples:

• Prefix: “From ” → Customer enters “Emily” → Displays: From Emily
• Suffix: “ ❤️” → Customer enters “Mom” → Displays: Mom ❤️

The prefix/suffix appear both in the product preview and in the print file.

2. Stroke (Text Outline)

The Stroke setting allows you to add an outline around the text.

You can adjust stroke color and thickness, you also have two options:

• Outer Stroke: The outline is applied outside the text shape.
• Center Stroke: The outline is applied half inside, half outside the text shape.

Personalize with Stroke Palette

You can now allow customers to customize the text stroke color by enabling the Stroke Palette.

When this option is enabled, customers can choose from multiple predefined stroke color swatches, instead of using a fixed stroke color. This helps keep the design consistent while still giving customers flexibility.

3. Text Pattern

Pattern lets you fill the text with an image texture instead of a solid color.

Personalize Text Background Swatch

You can also allow customers to customize the text background by enabling the Text Background Swatch option.

When this option is enabled, customers can choose from multiple predefined text background styles or patterns instead of using a single fixed background. This is especially useful for designs that use decorative text labels, highlights, or patterned nameplates.
