Campaigns in Customix are what bring your personalization setup to life on your Shopify store. They link your product and template together, making it possible for customers to personalize and purchase your items.

What Is a Campaign?

A campaign is the connection between a product and a template. It tells Customix:

• Which product to display
• Which template to apply
• How the customization should appear on the storefront

Without a campaign, your personalized product won’t appear live or interactive in your store.

How Campaigns Work

Each campaign includes:

• A product source (either from your existing Shopify catalog or Customix's product base)
• A design template that defines the personalization behavior
• A list of variants that the template applies to and its display options

Once a campaign is created and activated, your product becomes live and customizable on your storefront.

Campaign Types

When creating a campaign, you can choose from two options:

1. Shopify Products

Select an existing product from your Shopify store and apply a Customix template to it. This is ideal if you’ve already created products in Shopify and want to make them customizable.

2. Product Bases

Use a product base provided by Customix to create a brand-new product with predefined mockup dimensions and print settings.

👉 After setting up the campaign, the product will be automatically pushed to your Shopify product list, ready to be customized and sold.
