Template variants

The Template Variants feature allows you to assign different design templates to specific product variants. This is especially useful when each variant has a different dimension, shape, or design layout requirement.

When to Use Template Variants

Use Template Variants when:
Your product variants have different aspect ratios (e.g. square vs. rectangle).
Each size or color needs a unique personalization layout.
You want to customize the design experience based on the selected variant.

How to Set Up Template Variants

Step 1: Enable Template Variants feature

Go to Campaign > Variants, you’ll see the list of all available product variants (e.g. 8"x12", 16"x24").
Click + Add to begin assigning templates.

Enable Template variants

Use the template dropdown to search and select the design template you've prepared for this variant.
For example, link the Poster Design - 16"x24" template to the 16"x24" variant.

Search for a template
Click into the "Variants" box and choose which product variant(s) you want this template to apply to.
Link to variant(s)

Step 3: Repeat and Save

Add as many template-variant pairs as needed to cover your full product set.
Don’t forget to hit Save to apply your changes.

Notes

Each variant can only be linked to one template.
If a variant isn’t listed in the Template Variants section, it will use the default campaign template.
