How to Integrate Gelato with Customix

Step 1: Log in to the Gelato Developer Dashboard

• Go to your Gelato dashboard
• In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click Developer > API Keys

Step 2: Generate Your API Key

• Click Add API Key
• Enter a Name for the API key
• Click Create Key

The key will grant access to all major Gelato APIs, including:

• Product catalog discovery
• Order placement and management
• Product and shipment prices

Step 3: Copy the API Key

• Once the API key is generated, copy it to your clipboard

Step 4: Connect Gelato to Customix

• Open the Customix Product Personalizer app in your Shopify admin
• Go to Settings > Fulfillments
• Locate the Gelato provider and click to toggle it on
• Paste your Gelato API key into the prompt and click Update

How It Works

Once Gelato is integrated:

• When you create a campaign using a product from the Gelato product base, Customix will automatically link the information
• When an order is placed, you can click Request Fulfillment
• The order will be sent to Gelato for production and shipping
• Once fulfilled, tracking details will be synced back automatically to your Shopify Orders dashboard

This integration ensures that your fulfillment process runs smoothly, reducing manual work and improving delivery efficiency.
