Cutout.pro is a versatile AI service that supports multiple visual transformations for product personalization. In Customix Product Personalizer, it can be used for the following functions:
Background removal
Face cutout
Face cartoonized
General cartoonized selfie effects

Step 1: Get Your Cutout.pro API Key

Go to https://cutout.pro and log into your account.
Click the API tab in the navigation menu.
You’ll be directed to your account API key page.
Copy the Main API key displayed there.

Step 2: Connect Cutout.pro in Customix

Open the Customix Product Personalizer app in Shopify.
Go to Settings > Services.
Scroll to the "Available services" section.
Find Cutout.pro and click to expand it.
Paste your API key into the input field.
Once connected, the status will display as Connected.


After connecting Cutout.pro, you can assign it as the default tool for:
Remove background – Automatically delete image backgrounds.
Face cutout – Extract faces from customer-uploaded images.
Face cartoonized – Apply cartoon-style filters to face selfies.
Cartoonized – Convert full selfies into cartoon avatars.
These AI-powered tools enhance the personalization experience for customers and streamline merchant workflows.
