If you're not using an automated print provider or prefer to manage production yourself, Customix allows you to manually fulfill orders with ease. Here’s how to handle everything from receiving the order to marking it as fulfilled in Shopify.

1. Receive the Order

When a customer places an order from your Shopify storefront, it will automatically appear in your Customix Orders Dashboard.
In the app, you'll see the product image, customer-selected options, and a customization ID (used to identify the design file).
In Shopify, Customix also syncs the order and adds key identifiers like:
cm-customization-id
cm-thumb-url (direct link to design thumbnail)
These help you trace back the personalization for manual processing

2. Download or Export the Order File

Go to the order detail page in Customix and:
Click Export to download the print file (and metadata if needed)
Alternatively, right-click the preview image to Download the file directly
This is the exact file you should send to your production or print facility.

3. Fulfill the Order Yourself

Once you've printed or prepared the customized item:
Pack and ship the product via your preferred delivery method
Collect the tracking number (if applicable)

4. Add Tracking in Shopify

Go back to the Shopify Order Dashboard, find the corresponding order, and:
Click Fulfill item
Enter the tracking number and select your shipping carrier
Click Fulfill item



This ensures that your customer is notified and that the order is marked as complete in Shopify.
