How to Translate Default Texts in Customix

If your store targets international audiences, you may want to translate the default texts displayed on the Customix personalization form (e.g., "Upload photo", "Preview Your Design", etc.) into your preferred language.

Customix allows you to easily modify these texts through Shopify’s Theme Customizer. Here's how to do it:

• Step 1: Go to your Shopify admin dashboard.
• Step 2: Navigate to Online Store → Themes.
• Step 3: Click the Customize button next to your active theme.

• Step 4: In the theme editor, click the App Embeds icon on the left toolbar. Expand the Customix 2.0 embed section

• Step 5: Scroll to locate the input fields under labels like: File upload help tex, Upload button text, Preview Your Designs text, Required text...and so on.

• Step 6: Replace the English text in each field with your translated version. Then, click Save once you're done.

Notes

• These settings are theme-specific. If you switch themes, you’ll need to re-enter translations.
• All translated texts will immediately reflect on your storefront once saved.
