# Cutout.Pro Integration

Cutout.pro is a versatile AI service that supports multiple visual transformations for product personalization. In Customix Product Personalizer, it can be used for the following functions:
* Background removal
* Face cutout
* Face cartoonized
* General cartoonized selfie effects

# Step 1: Get Your Cutout.pro API Key
* Go to [https://cutout.pro](https://cutout.pro) and log into your account.
* Click the **API** tab in the navigation menu.
* You’ll be directed to your account API key page.
* Copy the **Main API key** displayed there.

# Step 2: Connect Cutout.pro in Customix
* Open the **Customix Product Personalizer** app in Shopify.
* Go to **Settings > Services**.
* Scroll to the "Available services" section.
* Find **Cutout.pro** and click to expand it.
* Paste your API key into the input field.
* Once connected, the status will display as **Connected**.

After connecting Cutout.pro, you can assign it as the default tool for:
* **Remove background** – Automatically delete image backgrounds.
* **Face cutout** – Extract faces from customer-uploaded images.
* **Face cartoonized** – Apply cartoon-style filters to face selfies.
* **Cartoonized** – Convert full selfies into cartoon avatars.
These AI-powered tools enhance the personalization experience for customers and streamline merchant workflows.
